In September of 2002 the Kingston Jazz Society asked me to put together a group for their late night bar series. I took this opportunity to invite Rob Frayne from Ottawa, Artie Roth from Toronto and Dave Barton from Kingston to play with me.
The music we played was a combination of my tunes and standards. There was no rehearsal for the gig; we ran the heads at sound check and then just played.
