This is a recording made for the CBC Radio show Heartland that never made it to air, probably because of the somewhat out of tune piano.
It's sat in the vault until now.

At the time (2000) the trio was playing together somewhat regularly and this recording captures the interaction we were developing. It also demonstrates our interest in opening up our approach to playing the music in a less structured way.

Most of these tunes start slowly and build so hang in there.
